My journey as a Physical Therapist began in 2012 after completing my Master’s in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. Since then, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals manage a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including postural dysfunctions, joint pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. In 2016, I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, further sharpening my manual therapy skills and applying evidence-based treatment strategies to confidently deliver meaningful and lasting outcomes for my clients.
In 2020, my professional journey took a deeply personal turn with the birth of my first son. While my pregnancy initially progressed smoothly, I developed pubic symphysis pain during my third trimester. I was reassured that this discomfort was common and would resolve after delivery. In hindsight, I now recognize that early pelvic floor physical therapy could have significantly changed my experience.
Following an emergency C-section, my postpartum recovery was challenging. Alongside the joys of motherhood, I faced nursing difficulties, anxiety, pelvic pain, urinary leakage, diastasis recti, persistent fatigue, and a loss of connection with my own body. Despite being a physical therapist, I felt overwhelmed and underprepared. That season made one thing very clear—having the right guidance during pregnancy and postpartum is invaluable.
Four years later, it took courage for me to conceive again. This time, however, the experience was profoundly different. I felt empowered, prepared, and informed. I knew exactly how to support my pelvic floor, care for my C-section scar, and safely rebuild my strength during pregnancy and postpartum. As a result, my recovery the second time around was smoother, faster, and far more confidence-building.
Today, I am proud to be a strong, active, and content mother. Getting here required intention, consistency, and support—but above all, a deep understanding of the pelvic floor and its critical role in helping women return to their prior level of function, strength, and poise.
With extensive training in both orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy, I am passionate about guiding pregnant and postpartum women through every stage of their journey. My goal is to help women feel informed, supported, and confident in their bodies—so they can move, live, and mother with strength and ease.
